Ploigos is a Kubernetes client that allows users to connect directly to their own Kubernetes clusters. The app is designed to operate without collecting or transmitting personal data to the developer.
Ploigos does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to the developer.
The app does not include:
Cluster configuration information (non-secret settings such as cluster name, server URL, context, and preferred namespace) may be stored in the user’s private iCloud storage to allow synchronization across the user’s devices.
This information is stored in the user’s private iCloud container and is not accessed by the developer.
Credentials used to access Kubernetes clusters (such as tokens, client certificates, or keys) are stored securely in the Apple Keychain on the user’s device.
These credentials are only used locally on the user’s device to communicate directly with the configured Kubernetes cluster and are not transmitted to the developer.
Ploigos connects directly from the user’s device to the Kubernetes API server specified in the user’s configuration. No intermediary servers are used for handling cluster communication.
Ploigos uses a minimal backend service for two purposes:
The backend does not store personal data and is not used to process or store Kubernetes credentials or cluster information.
Feedback submitted through the app is optional and may be sent anonymously. Users may choose what information to include in feedback messages.
This backend service is not used for tracking, analytics, or profiling.
If a Kubernetes cluster uses a private certificate authority, the app can generate a configuration profile (.mobileconfig) that allows the user to trust that certificate authority on their device.
Installation of configuration profiles is entirely controlled by the user and can be removed by the user at any time in iOS/iPadOS Settings.
Ploigos does not log user activity or collect usage data.
Users can remove all stored data at any time by deleting the app or removing stored configurations within the app.
iCloud-synced data can be removed by disabling iCloud synchronization or deleting the app’s data from iCloud settings.
Ploigos does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The app relies only on platform services provided by Apple, such as iCloud and the Keychain, for storage and security.
